Anxiety and OCD

Anxiety is a normal and often necessary emotion that everyone experiences from time to time. It is the feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that arises in response to perceived or real threats or stressful situations. Anxiety can be helpful in certain situations as it can motivate you to take action and prepare for potential dangers. However, when anxiety becomes excessive or persistent, it can interfere with your daily life.

Anxiety and OCD  can push you around in your life and move you away from what is most important.  You may avoid situations, behaviors, and emotions in order to prevent uncomfortable experiences. Therapy provides a space to work with the uncomfortable experiences and reconnect with the relationships and life you want.
